Our Story — Woodiny

In 2018, we started with wood, resin, and one big idea.

Woodiny wasn't born as a business — it started as an experiment. We wanted to find out whether an everyday object could be both functional and genuinely beautiful. Our first products were wooden power banks finished with epoxy resin, and they found their audience quickly. But the deeper we went into the material, the clearer it became: the real magic of resin isn't in storing power — it's in the way it holds light.

2019 — First sale. First lesson.

In July 2019, we brought our work to a craft market in Prague for the first time. Handmade wooden and resin coasters, a live crowd, immediate feedback — and one unforgettable lesson: too much resin, a flooded table, and a rule we never forgot. Measure twice. Pour once.

That day made something clear. We didn't want to make decorations. We wanted to make light that lives.

From power banks to lamps that set the mood.

We stepped away from power banks — batteries didn't fit our commitment to longevity and material quality. Instead, we focused entirely on what had captivated us from the start: the combination of natural wood, epoxy resin, and light.

There's a moment that's hard to describe. You turn off the main light — and the room doesn't go dark, it transforms. The epoxy resin lamp on the table comes alive, glowing from within, and the space around you becomes something else entirely. Today, Woodiny is a curator of unique handcrafted lighting. We source and present epoxy resin lamps, futuristic LED night lights, and outdoor garden lighting — each one the result of genuine craftsmanship and hands-on production. Each model is carefully reviewed before being added to our catalog.
